Information on Thyroid Cancer

Thyroid cancer is cancer found on the thyroid gland.  It’s quite rare in the UK, and women are more likely to get it than men.

The thyroid gland is a butterfly-shaped gland at the front of the neck, and makes and releases hormones that help with things like your digestion, muscles and heart.
