Meet O-liver – the mobile scanning unit offering free scans to members of the public. The Liver Buddies visit various venues around Leeds and the surrounding areas, and hope that by offering this service they can not only reduce hospital waiting times for patients who have scanning appointments, but can catch various liver diseases earlier and thus improve the outcomes for patients. If you would like a scan, or to find out where O-liver will be visiting next, you can visit the West Yorkshire Liver Care website by clicking their logo below.
Find a support group for Liver Cancer
It can be really useful to speak to other people who know how you are feeling because they have been there too. Speaking to those who have a lived experience of cancer can be a great source of comfort. Many support groups also invite speakers or have medical staff in attendance, so can be a great resource to help you on your cancer journey.
