Find a support group for Mesothelioma Cancer
It can be really useful to speak to other people who know how you are feeling because they have been there too. Speaking to those who have a lived experience of cancer can be a great source of comfort. Many support groups also invite speakers or have medical staff in attendance, so can be a great resource to help you on your cancer journey. Here are some local support groups you may be interested in.

Mesothelioma Support Yorkshire (Messy)
We meet every month on Fridays between 2 – 4pm. Meetings will alternate between face to face meetings at Park Plaza and virtual via zoom.

SARAG Bradford – Support & Social Group
A friendly support and social group for anyone affected by asbestos related disease; family members/carers etc are also very welcome to attend.
Our groups provide the opportunity to have a good chat and to share experiences and advice with people who understand, in an informal setting. SARAG staff and other professionals will be in attendance to offer support and to answer any questions you may have. We also have speakers on relevant subjects at some of our meetings.
A complimentary lunch and hot drinks will be provided.
Meeting on the first Tuesday of each month.
Time: 12-2pm

SARAG Online Bereavement Peer Support Group
We meet fortnightly online via Zoom; meetings take place every other Thursday, 10 – 11.30am (day and
time could be subject to change depending on service need). The group is open to those living in the Yorkshire & Humberside area.
Full one-to-one support is available if you are unfamiliar with using Zoom.

A small, friendly social group for people who have been diagnosed with an asbestos related disease. An opportunity to have a good chat and to share experiences and advice with people who understand.
We meet on the second Monday of each month via ZOOM 12:30 – 1:30 (day and time could be subject to change depending on service needs).
